One Australian loses their life to blood cancer every two hours. A shocking statistic, that the travel industry wants to help change.
KARRYON’s General Manager Anthony Valeriano, Scoot’s General Manager Jared Simcox and Express Travel Groups Agency Support Centre Manager Alisha Dopper will all be losing their locks next month to support the Leukaemia Foundation.
Our video of Anthony and Jared revealing their pledge (if you missed it you can check it out here) scored us a bit of attention from the Leukaemia Foundation.
Yesterday their Business Development Manager Philip Gibson and Campaign Manager Sarah Hozack paid a visit to KARRYON HQ to meet us face to face and to thank the travel industry for coming on board.
“We are so glad to have the travel industry come on board because it is an ecosystem in itself with lots of different players from airlines to hotels.”
So, the question on all of your lips. When will these travel execs be taking part in the big chop?
Anthony and Jared will lose their beautiful hair right here at KARRYON at 3pm on Wednesday 14 March 2018. We will be live streaming all the action so don’t forget to tune in.
If the boys raise over $2000 between them, Jared also has to endure the painful experience of having his chest waxed OUCH! Donate here and make it happen.
Alisha is holding a public shave event Saturday March 17 from 2pm to 4pm at the College Lawn in Prahran.
If you’re in Melbourne, go and support her. She will have giveaways on the day and will also be auctioning off the right for someone to shave her head.
Go show your support to Alisha on her page here. She has an ambitious goal of $5000 but with our help we think she will smash it!
Can you dob in anyone else from the industry to take part? It will all help.
