Online travel retailer Luxury Escapes has opened the doors to its slick new pop-up retail space in Chadstone, Melbourne, in an offline move it says aims to ‘bring exclusive deals to customers as they seek out exceptional travel experiences in 2023.’
More Apple Store slick brand experience than cluttered agency of yesteryear, Luxury Escapes says its new pop-up at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne will enable customers to book a variety of exclusive in-store escapes and experiences, including for popular destinations such as Bali, Thailand, Maldives, Vietnam and Australia.
The travel giant says customers will be able to explore holidays that feature bucket list tours, inclusive drinks and dining, and access to hotel grand openings via the help of on-hand travel experts.
The new store is also answering the call of busy lifestyles, opening 7-days a week until late, including closing at 9.00 pm on Thursday through Saturday evenings.
Interior design-wise, the store has a spacious, upmarket yet relaxed boutique feel, with brochures and racks replaced by large LCD screens to display travel content and large tables to talk (and book) travel around.
Luxury Escapes CEO and co-founder Adam Schwab says the pop-up will give customers access to in-person guidance from the team of Luxury Escapes’ travel experts, from how to build a personalised itinerary and discovering elevated experiences, as well as access to exclusive in-store offers.
“For the overwhelming majority of Australians, travel is top of the spend list in 2023. And with life now well and truly back to ‘normal’ and cost of living front of mind, consumers are looking for the best exclusive deals and expert advice to help them plan the trip of their dreams and find seamless ways to maximise the whole experience,” says Schwab.
A recent survey of more than 4,000 Aussies by Luxury Escapes indicated that room upgrades, bucket list experiences, fine dining and spa treatments are high on the list for travellers looking for indulgence while on holiday in 2023.
Customers will be able to book 30-minute appointments in advance online, which Luxury Escapes says will enable their agents to offer a truly personalised, end-to-end concierge experience.
“This is just the beginning of what we plan to be an immersive and exciting in-store experience at Chadstone in 2023,” says Schwab.
