The Flight Centre Captain has taken centre stage as part of an on-going competition leveraging their current ‘Massive Airfare Sale’.

The famous pilot it seems has flown off himself on a world wide trip leaving location clues along the way for competition entrants to piece together his itinerary.

Though at this stage no-one knows wether he’s actually flying the plane, tucked up in a sleeper bed enjoying the delights of First Class, or perhaps slumming it in the new Flight Centre Cargo Class?

Where’s the Captain gone now? He’s even left his place on the site.

Meanwhile for competition entrants it’s on for young and old in the hope of taking out the grand prize of an 8 stop round the world trip with the winner to be announced at the end of April.

With the competition already over the half way stage, video clues have been steadily released on Flight Centre Australia’s Facebook page with 4 destinations already uncovered including; The Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan, China, Jaipur in India, Tsingy National Park in Madagascar and Shakespeare’s house in Stratford upon Avon in the UK.

With just three destinations left to be go, the investigation heat is on to be the first to discover all of them.

The next (fifth) destination will be announced on April 17th, with the remaining two destinations to be announced on the 20th and 23rd of April.

To win the grand prize, entrants most post comments in each #WHEREINTHEWORLDISTHECAPTAIN clue on Flight Centre Australia’s Facebook page, guessing the city or town they think the Captain has travelled to AND the most exciting thing the entrant would do there in 25 words or less.

The most creative correct answer for each clue will make up the eight finalists.

Once the Captain has been located at his final destination, Flight Centre will open it up for members of the public to vote for which finalist will win the 8 stop Round the World trip.

Have you been trying to track down the captain? What do you think of the competition?
