Australia’s leading battlefield tour operator has released its 2019 touring brochure which features 28 new tours including its first ‘Value Tours’ range, as well as Anzac Day tours in Asia, the Pacific and Australia.

With the centenary commemorations of the end of World War recently marked, Mat McLachlan Battlefield Tours (MMBT)—Australia’s leading battlefield tour operator—has released its 2019 brochure.

“Our 2019 brochure is special. It is packed with exciting new experiences, with 28 more tours than in our 2018 program”, says MMBT’s General Manager Touring, Matt Masson.

NEW OPTIONS INCLUDE:

  • A new ‘Value Tours’ range: more than 20 tours in Europe mostly covering WW2 battlefield sites.
  • Mat McLachlan Signature Tour to the Western Front: 9-day behind-the-scenes exploration personally led by Mat McLachlan.
  • Vietnam Past and Present: 12-day itinerary led by Gary McKay, a Vietnam veteran, who was awarded the Military Cross.
  • Western Front Small-Group Explorer: 4-day itinerary with pick-up in Paris or Lille.

“Our new ‘Value Tours’ are excellent value with prices for D-Day Landings starting from just $688 for 4 days ($172 per day)”, says MMBT’s General Manager Touring, Matt Masson.

“The 2019 brochure also asks Australians to think about where they’d like to spend Anzac Day”, adds Matt. Accordingly, a new range of Anzac Day tours has been added including:

  • Anzac Day at Hellfire Pass in Thailand
  • Trekking and non-trekking tours of Kokoda in Papua New Guinea
  • Anzac Day in Australia that visits Canberra, Cowra and Temora
