AFTA Board: Helloworld’s Cinzia Burnes joins as Director

The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) Board has announced Cinzia Burnes has joined as a Director, filling the role vacancy left by David Padman who resigned in September 2022 after a 10-year tenure.

The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) Board has announced Cinzia Burnes has joined as a Director, filling the role vacancy left by David Padman who resigned in September 2022 after a 10-year tenure.

New to the AFTA Board, Helloworld Limited Executive Director Ms Burnes is also a G’Day USA Champion. She previously held positions as a Board Member of Tourism Victoria and the Australian Tourism Commission and a Beyond Tourism 2020 Committee Member.

She joins Chair Tom Manwaring, Vice Chair Christian Hunter, Vice Chair Graham Turner, Shelley Beasley, Laura Ruffles, Spiros Alysandratos, Joanne Sully, David Smith, David Greenland and Roy Merricks on the AFTA Board.

“It’s an honour to be joining the AFTA Board. I look forward to working with my fellow Directors throughout this critical recovery period and beyond,” Ms Burnes said.
