APT Travel Group has added Jenni Carey as its new Business Development Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, a move the new recruit says she is “absolutely thrilled” about.
“Travel is all about connection, and I’m excited to keep working closely with our amazing trade partners across Victoria and Tasmania, supporting them in growing their business with APT and Travelmarvel,” Carey told Karryon.
“These brands have such a strong reputation and loyal following, and I’m so excited to be part of a team that delivers truly unforgettable travel experiences.”

Carey joins APT Travel Group after a nearly two-year stint as Business Development Manager Victoria and Tasmania at Collette.
But Jenni’s experience goes well beyond that. For over 20 years, she also plied her trade in roles at airlines and even as a travel advisor.
APT Travel Group Chief Sales Officer Scott Ellis says Carey is a perfect fit for the position.

“Jenni’s energy, passion, and deep industry knowledge make her a fantastic addition to our team,” he told Karryon.
“She knows the industry inside and out and genuinely cares about helping agents succeed.
“I have no doubt she’ll hit the ground running and bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and a real partnership approach to the role. We couldn’t be happier to have her on board.”
Meanwhile, Sheena Smith also recently rejoined APT Travel Group as a BDM.

Earlier this year, Karryon sat down with APT’s CEO, David Cox to talk about the Melbourne tour company’s plans to be the leading operator in luxury group travel. Read that interview here.
