The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has announced some board member changes with Danielle Russom stepping up as Co-Vice Chair and Jamie Pherous returning as a Director, replacing Laura Ruffles who announced her resignation from the board.

Ruffles joined the ATIA Board as an alternate director in December 2015, before becoming a full director in July 2019.

During her board tenure, including as Vice Chair, Ruffles provided invaluable contributions, guiding ATIA through significant developments and industry challenges. Her deep commitment and expertise have been instrumental to ATIA’s success.

Corporate Travel Management Managing Director Jamie Pherous first served as an ATIA Director from February 2011 until transitioning to Ruffles’ alternate in July 2019. His extensive experience and prior role ensure a smooth transition and continued strong governance.
