Linkd Tourism has announced the appointment of Chris Hall as Account Director, adding more than 20 years of global industry experience to its growing team. Hall will be based in Burleigh Heads under the leadership of founder Kylee Kay.
Hall has built his career across country management, agency networks and commercial strategy. Most recently, he established the Australia and New Zealand offices for the Saudi Tourism Authority in Riyadh.
“After spending the last 7 years living in Asia, New Zealand and the Middle East, I’m really looking forward to returning to sunny Queensland, and being a part of the growing Linkd Tourism team,” Hall said,
In his new position, Hall will lead commercial growth initiatives for key Linkd Tourism partners, including destination management organisations and private enterprise.
“I have long-admired Chris for his commercial expertise and am confident he will make a huge contribution to our clients’ outcomes,” Kay said.
“I’m delighted to welcome him to the Linkd Tourism team.”
Recent leadership growth at Linkd
Hall’s appointment follows other senior hires this year. Phil Haines, with previous experience at Keith Prowse Travel, Travelzoo and Tourism NT, joined as Director, Brand and Growth. Emma Prineas, formerly with Wendy Wu Tours and TTC, stepped into the role of Director, PR & Marketing. These appointments highlight Linkd Tourism’s strategic investment in building leadership depth to support expanding client needs.
Founded six years ago by Kay, Linkd Tourism represents tourism brands to Australian and New Zealand travellers through PR, marketing and sales services.
Looking ahead, the agency plans to expand services and its client base. Hall said, “I look forward to reconnecting with my Australian network, this time representing the exciting and expanding Linkd portfolio.”
KARRYON UNPACKS: Linkd Tourism’s expansion signals more boots on the ground for trade partners. With Chris Hall’s global experience now channelled into Australia, agents can expect fresh opportunities, stronger destination links, and a sharper commercial focus.
