Movers + Shakers: Collette elevates Samantha Tamba to new Director of Field Sales - ANZ role

Collette has named Samantha Tamba as its new Director of Field Sales – Australia and New Zealand, a freshly created position within its National Sales Team.

Collette has named Samantha Tamba as its new Director of Field Sales – Australia and New Zealand, a freshly created position within its National Sales Team.

Starting 1 September 2025, Samantha steps up from her current role as Business Development Manager for Queensland and Northern NSW. 

Tamba brings deep industry experience, having worked at Albatross, Insight Vacations and Flight Centre, and represented travel brands in both Australia and New Zealand.

“Samantha walks into this new role understanding the momentum Collette has in Australia and sees the opportunity ahead of us”, Managing Director Australia Karen Deveson said.

“It also speaks to our company’s commitment to supporting growth opportunities within the Collette team. 

“Samantha’s strong relationships, as well as her understanding of how to implement our global sales strategies at a local level across both retail and group channels, will be a huge asset.”

Operating more than 170 tours across seven continents, the tour company will now recruit a new BDM for Queensland and Northern NSW.

Last week, the operator revealed a new video and training module to help advisors showcase its premium small-group guided tour experience with confidence to clients and reinforce its brand positioning in the Australian market, along with new social media content tools.
