Evolution Travel Collective (ETC) introduces Peter Topping as the new National Account Manager for its newly launched niche offering to cater for specialist partners, such as inaugural client Vio Travel, alongside an established suite of existing B2B representation services and partnership portfolio.

Topping brings more than 30 years’ experience and expertise across travel sales, business development, marketing and technology, including operating his own consultancy business and working with several travel companies.

He has most recently worked at 50 Degrees North and Cruise Factory and has been involved with industry mentoring and training for many years.

As National Account Manager, Topping will work with specialist clients, such as Vio Travel, an online DMC specialising in tailored Asia experiences, to provide trade engagement, strategy and performance reporting.

The new National Account Management (NAM) model provides a bespoke, high-touch and targeted service for specialist travel businesses with a single point of contact.

ETC Co-Founder & Managing Director Ingrid Berthelsen said the new model addresses a gap in the market to provide niche brands with scalable account management services.

“Our agency partners told us time and again: ‘We have more than one niche brand that needs the representation and servicing of an account manager but isn’t big enough to utilise your full multi-state BDM team’,” she said.

“This new offering is a direct response to market feedback. We saw no one else in our space within the market delivering exactly that. So, we built it.

“Peter’s appointment marks the evolution of our representation framework, acting as the bridge between specialist business and the full suite of ETC services –  agency engagement, training, contracting, trade marketing and performance analytics – all under one accountable leadership,” Berthelsen said.
