Fiji Airways has boosted its sales, marketing and commercial leadership teams, signalling a sharper focus on growth in key markets. The appointments aim to strengthen trade partnerships, network performance and long-term strategy.

Most importantly for Aussies, Gai Tyrrell joins as Regional Director, Australia and New Zealand, overseeing the airline’s largest and most strategic markets.

Tyrrell brings extensive Asia-Pacific aviation and travel experience, including executive roles with Hawaiian Airlines, Sabre Pacific and the Globus family of brands. Fiji’s national carrier says her appointment underlines its commitment to Australia and New Zealand and reinforces commercial ties with local trade partners.
