Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has appointed Clinton Hearne as the Executive General Manager of its new World360 Rewards loyalty program.
Part of the FCTG family for nearly 20 years, Hearne has been a member of the group’s Leisure executive team since 1 July 2024.
Most recently, he served as Global Head of Marketing at FCTG, a position subsequently filled by Megan Henderson. Originally a frontline consultant, Clinton was also Head of Marketing at Travel Money Group and Escape Travel.
While his title is new, FCTG says Hearne had been covertly creating the World360 brand and customer value proposition for a long time.

“Having worked behind the scenes on building this incredible business and customer value proposition for 18 months, it’s the best feeling in the world to now see all our team’s hard work come to life,” Hearne told Karryon.
“World360 Rewards is a new chapter in travel for Aussies, and it’s an exciting new chapter for me in my career in the travel industry and at Flight Centre Travel Group.”
Live since late November, after a long build-up, FCTG’s new leisure loyalty scheme revolves solely around travel, allowing customers to earn, redeem and travel more. The Australian points-based rewards program’s initial participating brands are Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout.

“With World360 Rewards, you earn points on every flight, every fare class, every airline, as well as all the other important parts of your holiday booking, including hotels, cruises, tours and experiences,” FCTG Global Leisure CEO James Kavanagh said when the scheme launched.
“We’ve built the Rewards Store on the principle of more flexibility because it shouldn’t be restrictive to book travel.”
Last month, Flight Centre Travel Group also added Kathy Clifford as Head of Travel, Loyalty. Read about her appointment here.
