Longtime Flight Centre leader Rebecca McKenzie has been promoted to a new role as Nation Leader of Western Australia, Northern Territory & South Australia (WANTSA).
McKenzie not only moves on from her most recent role as Area Leader Victoria & Tasmania, but also switches cities from Melbourne to Perth for her new position.
With more than 24 years at Flight Centre Travel Group and experience across nine different roles in the Vic/Tas region, McKenzie has extensive expertise in product, customer service and retail management.

She most recently oversaw more than 20 FC stores across Victoria and Tasmania and played a pivotal role during COVID, assisting retail teams with the return of thousands of clients back to Australia.
McKenzie has previously led the Escape Travel brand in Victoria and developed more than 300 consultants and leaders in her capacity as an FCTG Leadership Trainer.

She now heads west, accompanied by her husband and nine-year-old daughter, to lead the next phase of business growth for Flight Centre in the WANTSA region after the company unveiled its new global tagline earlier this year.
McKenzie said she is excited to begin this new chapter in her journey with the Flight Centre brand.
“I’m passionate about delivering unforgettable travel experiences for clients and committed to driving success through growth, resilience, innovation and teamwork,” she told Karryon.
