Globus family of brands (GFOB) has appointed well-known travel industry leader Chris Hall as its new Managing Director Asia Pacific, joining the global leadership team on 31 March 2025 to drive growth across all brands and markets.
Based in Australia, Hall will be responsible for GFOB companies Avalon Waterways, Globus and Cosmos in the APAC region and steering the growth of these businesses with travel advisors.
A seasoned leader and long-time travel industry executive, Hall has more than 30 years’ experience, bringing his expertise across touring and cruise to the GFOB team.
He most recently held the position of Ponant CEO in Asia Pacific along with senior positions at Australian Pacific Holdings (APH), the parent company of APT Travel Group, including APH Managing Director of APH and APT Travel Group CEO during his 21-year tenure.

Deb Corbett was announced as the new Ponant CEO Asia Pacific upon Hall’s departure in June 2024.
