Globus family of brands has appointed experienced exec Rebeka Belcher as Business Development Manager for Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia, covering the company’s full brand portfolio of guided touring and river cruising.
Belcher’s appointment spans all three GFOB brands: guided touring operators Globus and Cosmos and luxury river cruise line Avalon Waterways.
Based in Perth, she will be the primary point of contact for travel advisors and trade partners across WA, NT and SA, working to grow bookings across the portfolio, which now includes new Globus and Cosmos tours across Asia and Africa for 2027.
Belcher brings more than 15 years of travel industry experience to the role, with a deep background in cruise sales across the same three states she now covers for GFOB.
She has held senior sales roles at Silversea Cruises and Uniworld River Cruises across WA, NT and SA, and most recently served as national Head of Sales at Coterie Circle.

GFOB boosts sales support in Australia’s central west
GFOB Head of Commercial ANZ Brett Simon said the appointment strengthens the company’s presence in a key region.
“Western and central regions of Australia are an important market for us and we’ve been deliberate about who we’ve put into this role,” he said.
“Rebeka’s background in cruise sales across the region, combined with the trade relationships she’s built over more than a decade, makes her exceptionally well placed to drive growth for our brands here.”

Speaking about her appointment, Belcher said she is looking forward to getting back in front of the trade.
“I’ve spent more than a decade working in cruising across this exact region, so I know the trade and I know what advisors are looking for,” she said.
“Globus, Cosmos and Avalon are a strong stable of brands that I genuinely believe in and I’m looking forward to getting in front of partners and building on what’s already there.”
KARRYON UNPACKS: Advisors in WA, NT and SA now have a single contact for Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways with a deep cruise sales background. With a touring brand and a river cruise line under the same banner, it is a useful point of call for both land-touring and water-based itineraries.
