WA’s Helloworld Carousel has a new store owner in Anusha Chhotubhai , bringing almost 30 years’ experience in the travel industry and 17 years as a consultant within the business to her new role, as long-standing sector stalwart Gary Ewart retires.
Chhotubhai said: “Helloworld Carousel has been in our community for over 30 years, dating back to its Harvey World Travel origins.”
“It’s a vibrant, trusted store and I’m thrilled to be taking on this new role and building on the legacy Gary has created with the same passion, care and service our clients have come to expect.”
A proud legacy

Reflecting on the transition, Ewart shared his sentiments as he steps away from Helloworld Carousel.
“After 35 incredible years in the travel industry and over 30,000 confirmed bookings for our valued clients, I am announcing my retirement and the sale of my business,” he said.
“This journey has been one of passion, dedication and unforgettable experiences. I’ve had the privilege of meeting thousands of clients and I’m deeply grateful for the trust and support over the years.
“I’m proud that the business will be passed onto Anusha Chhotubhai, who has been an integral part of its success and has worked alongside me for the past 17 years.
“Her commitment, expertise and care for our clients have been unwavering, and I am confident she and her husband, Heetesh Chhotubhai, will continue to uphold the values and service excellence our business is known for.
“Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I extend my sincere gratitude to all clients, partners, colleagues and employees for their support throughout this journey,” he said.

Helloworld Travel Group General Manager Retail Networks Nick Sutherland extended his congratulations to both the new and retiring owners.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to Gary for his incredible contribution over a 35-year career. His dedication, success and service have left a lasting mark on our industry, and he retires with a legacy to be truly proud of,” he said.
“We wish both Gary and Anusha every success as they embark on the next phases of their journeys.”
