Movers + Shakers: Hilton adds Daniella Tonetto as Senior Commercial Director Australasia

Hilton has appointed seasoned sales and marketing executive Daniella Tonetto as Senior Commercial Director Australasia to drive top-tier performance and strategic development to deliver and maximise revenue in the region, effective from 1 July 2024.

Hilton has appointed seasoned sales and marketing executive Daniella Tonetto as Senior Commercial Director Australasia to drive top-tier performance and strategic development to deliver and maximise revenue in the region, effective from 1 July 2024.

The new role is pivotal to achieving commercial targets and expanding market share as the hotel group continues to grow its portfolio in this crucial region. Hilton International currently has 32 hotels across Australasia with 11 properties in the pipeline.

Along with extensive marketing management achievements, Tonetto has an impressive hospitality background with her most recent role as Director – Hotels at Axsia HTL along with senior commercial positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Marriott International across the Asia-Pacific region.  

She also spent seven years as the General Manager Sales & Marketing for Sheraton Grand Macao & The St. Regis Macao before returning to Australia in 2022.

Area Vice President & Head of Australasia Paul Hutton said Tonnetto has a proven track record of effectively leading teams, enhancing brand differentiation and exceeding commercial targets.

The hotel group recently entered a partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World to expand its global luxury portfolio.
