IndiGo strengthens Australasian market with The Walshe Group appointment as GSA

IndiGo has added The Walshe Group as its general sales agent (GSA) for Australia and New Zealand to lead the Indian airline’s sales and channel development and marketing in the Australasian market.

IndiGo has added The Walshe Group as its general sales agent (GSA) for Australia and New Zealand to lead the Indian airline’s sales and channel development and marketing in the Australasian market.

The Walshe Group Managing Director Jacqui Walshe said: “The Walshe Group is thrilled to be working again with IndiGo at a time when both the airline and India are experiencing exponential growth.”

“With a strengthening relationship between Australia, New Zealand and India, the opportunity for expansion and growth couldn’t be better.”

IndiGo is one of the world’s fastest growing airlines with an expanding fleet of more than 400 aircraft flying across 125-plus destinations, including over 40 international destinations.

The low-cost carrier is India’s largest in terms of passengers and fleet size and operates flights between Australia, Singapore and India with codeshare partner Qantas.

The appointment expands The Walshe Group’s airline representation portfolio for Australia and New Zealand, which includes Delta Air Lines, Air Niugini, ANA, Austrian, China Airlines, Lufthansa, Oman Air, South African Airways and Swiss.
