Intrepid Travel has increased its senior leadership structure in Asia, elevating two Country Managers to new Regional General Manager roles and expanding Managing Director of Global Operations & Asia Natalie Kidd’s remit to include destination marketing company (DMC) sales.
The internal moves will support Intrepid Travel’s growth strategy and 2030 goal of reaching more than 600,000 travellers by strengthening regional operations in Asia and furthering the B Corp’s commitment to responsible travel and sustainable tourism.
Sydney-based Kidd will take on an expanded role, adding DMC sales to her oversight of Asia and Global Operations.
With 19 years’ experience at Intrepid Travel, she brings extensive regional knowledge and operational expertise to support the tour operator’s growth plans across Asia.

“Asia has always been at the heart of Intrepid’s story. The new structural changes position us to strengthen our operations, support our teams and continue delivering meaningful travel experiences across the region,” Kidd said.
In addition, Ashish Verma has been appointed Regional General Manager for North & South Asia, overseeing China, Nepal and India.

Mike Stewart will lead South-East Asia as Regional General Manager, covering Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Verma, who has worked at Intrepid for more than 13 years, will relocate to Delhi from Kathmandu, where he was the General Manager of Nepal. Stewart, who has more than 17 years’ experience with Intrepid, will continue to be based in Bangkok.

Each country will still have a dedicated Country General Manager, ensuring strong local leadership and operational focus across the region.
Poornaka Delpachitra remains the General Manager of Sri Lanka, Hanh Nguyen is the General Manager of Vietnam and Kenny Onishi leads the business in Japan.
