Movers + Shakers: G Adventures adds new Global Purpose Specialists to AU sales team

G Adventures has welcomed two new Global Purpose Specialists to its Australian sales team – Nikki Woodward and Ben Goschnick – to meet the increase in demand for small-group travel that supports local communities.

G Adventures has welcomed two new Global Purpose Specialists to its Australian sales team – Nikki Woodward and Ben Goschnick – to meet the increase in demand for small-group travel that supports local communities.

Brisbane-based Nikki Woodward will represent G Adventures in Queensland and northern New South Wales and Ben Goschnick will be the Global Purpose Specialist for New South Wales and ACT, working from Sydney.

Ms Woodward has previously travelled with G Adventures through Colombia and Cuba, citing the Cuidad Perdida in Colombia where she hiked through the jungle and slept in hammocks alongside the local Wiwa community as a highlight.

“What I love the most about G Adventures is that it is a social enterprise, meaning the company is focused on giving back to the local communities that we all love to visit, and at the same time creating a viable wealth distribution model that has a positive impact for local people,” she said.

After a 2.5-year hiatus from sales, Mr Goschnick is thrilled to be back helping agents sell travel to adventurous and off-the-beaten-path destinations.

“G Adventures’ purpose and core values are very much aligned with my own. I’m proud to be working for a company that provides life-changing travel experiences that benefit both travellers and the communities they visit,” he said.

G Adventures Managing Director APAC Sean Martin said the two new appointments are a sure sign travel is back and he’s excited to have the Global Purpose Specialists out on the road flying the purple flag for G Adventures.

“Nikki and Ben are the perfect fit for our team with their existing passion for small-group adventures and changing lives through travel. Our agency partners will love them and we’re beyond excited to be building back our sales team after the long hiatus caused by the global pandemic,” Mr Martin said.

“I’m also extremely proud of our new brochures. They are full of bucket-list adventures that give back – exactly the type of travel we know people are looking for as they venture into the world again.”

The three new G Adventures brochures are now available for advisors to order via Tifs.
