Who better take charge of a cruise association’s communications than a man who’s spent years researching, writing about & representing cruise lines?
Jon Murrie, the former Managing Editor at Business Publishing Group and once Senior Consultant with MG Media Communications, has been appointed to the newly created position of Communications Director at Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia.
In his new role, he’ll be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications and PR strategies for CLIA across the region.
As the Communications Director, he’ll report straight to the man in charge at CLIA Australasia, Managing Director Joel Katz.
Katz said the new dedicated position will support the association’s members as the cruise industry continues expanding in Australia and New Zealand.
