Visit Anaheim has appointed its first local representative in five years with Michael Cassis stepping into the trade role with media, in-market events and activations support from Linkd Tourism as Visit Anaheim reaffirms its commitment to the Australian market.
Mr Cassis is the ideal ‘character’ for the role as a long-time friend of Visit Anaheim and a former Disney Destinations Australia Cast Member with intimate knowledge and experience of the Californian city and its attractions.
He will lead Australian-based initiatives for Visit Anaheim as the organisation promotes new room inventory, attractions and one-of-a-kind experiences to delight Aussie visitors.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Visit Anaheim team to help agents upskill on all there is to see in Anaheim and show Australian travellers why it’s the perfect base for a Southern California stay. Anaheim has some exciting plans for the Australian market, and I look forward to rolling these out soon,” he said.
