Long-time industry leader Sue Graham has rejoined the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) Independent executive team as the new Global Leader of Product for the independent suite of brands.
Alongside Graham, the FCTG Independent global team has also promoted Vanessa Whitaker to a new role as Global Supply Leader.
FCTG said Danielle Galloway (Global Managing Director, FCTG Independent and Luxury Pillars) had selected both product leaders to join the team as the independent business continues its strong growth trajectory across the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa.
Graham rejoins the Flight Centre family after a long career holding senior roles at Helloworld Travel, CT Partners, Travelocity, CiEvents and Jetset Travelworld. Her broad experience spans the Asia Pacific region’s leisure, corporate, event and online travel sectors.
Graham said about her return, “I’m incredibly excited and feel very privileged to be joining this dynamic team. My passion has always been working collaboratively and commercially with suppliers and independent agents, and FCTG Independent presents a huge opportunity globally for both sectors to leverage strong partnerships and drive business growth.”
Whitaker joined Flight Centre in July 2021 on the Global Land Supply team after having held leading roles at MTA and TripADeal and a travel career spanning more than 35 years.
Whitaker added, “I’m so excited to be joining FCTG Independent at this formative time to work with the team in developing existing strategic relationships, identifying new opportunities and helping the global FCTG Independent network members achieve results.”
