TravelManagers has promoted NSW Business Partnership Manager Julia McLean to the newly created role of National Business Partnership Manager to support the company’s personal travel managers (PTMs) across the Australia-wide network.

The move will see Ms McLean work with TravelManagers’ eight state-based Business Partnership Managers and the National Partnership Office team to ensure its nationwide PTM network receives the best assistance and opportunities.

In her new role, Ms McLean anticipates a need to assist the many talented agents looking to return to the industry to find a new home at TravelManagers.

“With more consumers seeking an experienced travel advisor, our focus is on providing a supportive and positive space for the many talented agents who are looking to return to the industry,” she said.

“Alongside our ‘Peace of Mind’ promise, TravelManagers’ biggest drawcards are that our systems, procedures and support have been developed specifically for home-based consulting.”

TravelManagers Executive General Manager Michael Gazal agreed, saying Ms McLean and her team are uniquely placed to meet the fast-growing interest in home-based consulting.

“Julia has a thorough grounding in all aspects of travel consulting and her firsthand experience means that she fully understands what it takes to run a successful home-based business,” he said.

“She will approach her new role with a wealth of skills and abilities complemented by the strong relationships she has built with PTMs, suppliers and the National Partnership Office team.”
