CT Connections has appointed David Padman as its new Regional General Manager for Victoria, NSW and South Australia, marking a strategic expansion of its leadership team.
Fellow recruit Craig Southee was named RGM for Queensland and Western Australia earlier this year.
Padman’s role enhances support for employees and clients, fostering agile decision-making. He will also spearhead supplier relations for Connections Travel Group (CTG).
With over 30 years of industry expertise, including roles at Flight Centre, FcM, Helloworld, Travelscene American Express, Padman brings a wealth of experience to CT Connections, promising to drive growth and innovation in the company’s operations.

He also served on the board of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA), which last year became the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA).
Padman said he was excited to be joining CTG and the CT Connections brand.
“The company’s remarkable journey of growth and service excellence has long captivated my admiration,” he remarked.
“As a challenger brand with a strong focus on cultivating a supportive family-like culture, CTG embodies the ideal environment for personal and professional development.
“I look forward to contributing meaningfully to the company’s endeavours in the years ahead.”

CTG Founder, CEO and Managing Director Gary Reichenberg said Padman’s recruitment was a real coup for the companies.
“To have secured someone of David’s talent and experience is extremely exciting for our group and bodes well for our future,” he stated.
“The appointment of a second Regional General Manager reaffirms our commitment to faster, locally based decision-making and provides better support both internally for employees and externally for clients.
“Leading supplier relations for the group also reaffirms our focus on strengthening partnerships and optimising the supply chain.”
