Princess Cruises New Zealand Sales Manager Debbie Monk will expand her regional remit with the addition of Queensland. Monk will now be the new Sales Manager and agent liaison for both New Zealand and Queensland.
Well-known to Kiwi agents, Monk has looked after the New Zealand region in a Sales Manager capacity with Princess Cruises for 1.5 years.
She has a wealth of industry and sales experience through previous roles with Carnival Corporation in New Zealand and on board as a Princess Deputy Cruise Director for six years.
After commuting between Auckland and Christchurch for several years, Monk will relocate to the Sunshine State on 1 July 2024.
Princess was excited to announce the territory expansion for Monk, who said she was looking forward to taking on the new role and the challenges that lie ahead.
“This is a wonderful opportunity. Queensland is such a beautiful part of Australia and an incredibly important market for Princess Cruises,” she said.
Princess Cruises held a star-studded naming ceremony for its newest ship, Sun Princess, in Barcelona earlier this year.
It also recently relaunched the OneSource agent website for ANZ travel professionals with new features and functionality.
