After more than 20 years of plying her trade at Air New Zealand, aviation industry veteran Leanne Geraghty has joined Sydney Airport as its new General Manager of Passenger Experience.

During her long stay at Air New Zealand, Geraghty worked across several positions, including General Manager of Australia and most recently as Chief Customer and Sales Officer for more than four years.

With over three decades of aviation sector experience, Sydney Airport says Geraghty is perfectly placed to lead and build upon the hub’s passenger experience.

According to the airport, Leanne steps in as the hub ramps up infrastructure upgrades ahead of predicted passenger growth, with a focus on smooth operations and a seamless passenger experience.

“I’m delighted to join Sydney Airport at such an exciting time,” Geraghty said.

“My main goal is to keep things running smoothly and efficiently for our passengers. I want to make real improvements at every step of their journey.
