Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has swelled its local sales team with the appointment of Claire Simon as the new Business Development Manager for Queensland and Western Australia.

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has swelled its local sales team with the appointment of Claire Simon as the new Business Development Manager for Queensland and Western Australia.

Simon joins the river cruise line from The Travel Corporation (TTC) sister brand, AAT Kings, where she most recently held the role of Queensland Sales Manager.

She brings extensive sales, aviation and tourism experience and expertise from previous positions at Air New Zealand and South African Airways as well as working for Trafalgar in Australia and New Zealand.

In her new role, Simon will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales in both regions, cultivating strong relationships with trade partners  and supporting Uniworld’s growth strategy.

Based in Brisbane, she replaces Shelley Martin who has moved to Windstar.

The river cruise line recently added Tiffany Mestrinho as the new Business Development Manager for Victoria and Tasmania and announced it will add three new Super Ships to its fleet by 2027.
