Movers + Shakers: Michele Duncan moves into Account Director, Member Relations role at Virtuoso

Virtuoso members, prepare for greater support… Luxury and experiential travel network, Virtuoso, is expanding its team in Australia and New Zealand, highlighting its growth and commitment to the region.

As part of this expansion, Michele Duncan has been appointed Account Director, Member Relations, focusing on the strategic development of Virtuoso members. Duncan replaces Anna Davies in the member relations team.

Michele has been with the group for over six years, most recently serving as a regional professional development and training specialist.

Melbourne-based, Duncan will continue to report to the network’s General Manager Australia and New Zealand Greg Treasure.

“We are delighted to have Michele move into the member relations team,” Treasure said. 

“Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the Virtuoso network make her uniquely qualified for this leadership position.

“Her dedication and comprehensive industry knowledge will undoubtedly bring renewed energy and strategic direction to our team.” 

Treasure said Davies had made “significant contributions to Virtuoso members across Australia and New Zealand during her almost six years of dedicated service”.

“Her commitment and hard work have left a lasting impact, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours,” he added.

Elsewhere, Virtuoso has added a new account manager and coordinator to the member relations team, while the marketing and events team has added a marketing coordinator.

In May, the group hosted its annual symposium in Dubai, with more than 400 travel professionals from 37 countries in attendance.
