Visit USA Australia has bolstered its 2025 Executive Committee, adding long-time member and well-known industry exec Anne Lee as Executive Secretary and new PR & Media Manager Christina Atherton and promoting Aida Osta to General Manager.
Osta’s new GM position recognises her evolving role across the tourism organisation’s strategy, operations and stakeholder engagement.
GTI Tourism Trade Marketing Director and the Travel Texas ANZ representative, Lee assumes the role of Executive Secretary, overseeing Visit USA’s organisational governance and sharing the public relations function with Atherton.

She has also managed campaigns for Vanuatu Tourism Office, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Bureau, Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and Palau Visitors Authority.
“It’s an honour to be appointed to the position of secretary, especially at such an exciting period of opportunity and with the great connectivity from Australia to the US,” Lee said.
“I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the Executive Committee as we continue to champion the incredible work of members and trade partners.”

Eight Communications Account Director Atherton joins Visit USA Australia after a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process.
She will manage the organisation’s PR and content strategy and grow its media profile and activities in Australia, bringing her expertise from brands such as Singapore Airlines, Visit Victoria, AAT Kings, VisitCanberra, Sofitel Melbourne, AAT Kings and Mirvac Hotels & Resorts.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Visit USA team and look forward to working closely with the Executive Committee and our members to continue championing the US as the premier travel destination for Australians,” Atherton said.

The new appointments complement the existing 2025 Executive Committee, which includes President Caroline Davidson (Visit Big Sky), Vice President Belinda Harvy (Discover The World) and Treasurer Millie Browne (Colorado Tourism Authority).
