FCM Consulting has appointed Denmark-based Glenn Thorsen to lead a new dedicated client-facing practice specialising in sustainability to strengthen the global team across areas such as travel sourcing, program optimisation and payment solutions.
The hire is the first significant structural change by Global Account Management & Consulting Director Jo Lloyd as she reshapes the business for post-pandemic success and boosts FCM’s capabilities to help clients from SMEs to global corporations address their sustainability goals.

Previously Head of Partnerships for Thrust Carbon, Mr Thorsen is a well-known and respected figure across the global sustainability community where he drove awareness and adoption of the emissions intelligence platform across the corporate travel industry.
A natural innovator with a strong start-up and enterprise background, he brings his consultancy skills honed across a diverse range of sectors, including the lifestyle tech space, to this new role.
Along with consulting, Mr Thorsen will support FCM’s internal efforts in sustainability, collaborating with Global Sustainability Officer Michelle Degenhardt to develop and oversee the execution of strategies to deliver on the organisation’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives.
