The Travel Corporation (TTC) is pleased to announce Matt Fuller, as the new CEO of the AAT Kings Group.
As of September 21, Matt Fuller will lead a combined team across AAT Kings’ Guided Holidays, Short Breaks and Day Tours as well as its Small Group collection, Inspiring Journeys, and SEIT Outback Australia.
Bringing a wealth of tourism experience to the group, Fuller has worked in private and publicly listed companies, a Packer family business, NSW Government Business Enterprises, and more recently in Transport for NSW.
He has also served as a Non-Executive Director and Trustee on a number of boards, including NSW’s highest-profile destination, the Sydney Opera House.
An operator at heart, Fuller has led single site and multiple location-based operations, holding state and national level responsibilities to deliver exciting, high profile projects.
He is particularly well known for creating a new business model for the Taronga Western Plains Zoo – leading the design and development of a capital investment program that delivered key assets, including three unique adventure accommodation properties and other complementary infrastructure which had a profound impact on the success of the operation and the surrounding region, including a range of targeted community and conservation benefits.

Fuller stated: “I am thrilled to take on the role as CEO for the AAT Kings Group, such a well-respected brand, and company to be a part of. It’s been an incredibly tough year for tourism and a challenging road ahead, which is why our communities need us now more than ever – I look forward to working closely and collaboratively with the industry to aid in the road to recovery.”
“I strongly believe in tourism and the very positive role it will play in our economic recovery, and to ensure a smooth transition for when the borders open up.”

Fuller has led teams that have achieved significant recognition and awards at regional, state, national, and international level, including numerous Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, winning three national awards during his tenure at Taronga Western Plains Zoo, which was inducted into the NSW Tourism Awards Hall of Fame in 2016.
“We are delighted to welcome Matt to our team. Matt’s keen commercial acumen and proven leadership capability, valuable relationships, ability to establish a culture of operational excellence; and track record of delivering quality customer, community and business outcomes – are all assets to the AAT Kings Group as we go forward in providing immediate support in our operations.”
