Movers + Shakers: Meet Adventure World’s new Head of Sales

When Andrew Eddy took to LinkedIn to officially share the news that he’d joined Adventure World as its new Head of Sales, he had nothing but praise for the company’s values. Values he shares.

When Andrew Eddy took to LinkedIn to officially share the news that he’d joined Adventure World as its new Head of Sales, he had nothing but praise for the company’s values. Values he shares.

Andrew said that he was “immensely proud” to join Adventure World, a brand that is admired, widely regarded, and respected. He made particular mention of the company’s strong values at the core of everything it does. And all “while creating authentic, sustainable and ethical opportunities for like-minded travellers”.

“Aligning with my personal values and outlook on life, it’s fantastic to be part of the team, as we strive together to bring ‘Travel With Purpose’ to life.”

On announcing Andrew’s appointment, Adventure World Managing Director Neil Rodgers pointed to Andrew’s outstanding track record and extensive industry expertise. 

“We are delighted to welcome Andrew Eddy to our team. His proven leadership abilities, combined with extensive experience in the adventure and leisure travel industry, make him an invaluable asset to our organisation.” 

Andrew will work closely with Adventure World customers and partners across Australia, New Zealand, and North America. And he will represent Lindblad Expeditions National Geographic and Star Clippers brands in Australia and New Zealand.

Joining Andrew is a strong sales team. This includes Cameron McDonell, newly appointed Industry Account Manager for Lindblad Expeditions National Geographic, and Sonya Testone, Inside Sales Executive. They join Andrea Morgan, National Accounts Manager for Adventure World, and Roger Condon, National Account Manager APAC for Star Clippers. Together, they will bolster support for travel industry partners, optimise sales performance across multiple channels, and uncover fresh opportunities.
