Rail Europe ANZ has added a second Key Account Manager for Australia and New Zealand with experienced sales executive Grant Robertson taking on the role and working alongside Regional Sales Manager James Hooper.
As Rail Europe ANZ Key Account Manager, Mr Robertson will be predominantly responsible for NSW, ACT, Queensland, WA and NT.
He will support travel advisors with sales and booking enquiries and share Rail Europe’s latest technologies, services, product training and incentive programs.
Mr Robertson has an extensive travel retail background as a travel advisor, in airline sales with Singapore Airlines in Wellington as well as Air New Zealand in London and Los Angeles, and car rentals with Hertz.
“Having worked across the full spectrum of trains, planes and automobiles, I am familiar with the complexities and requirements of the trade,” Mr Robertson said.
“I am excited about the advanced and intuitive travel technology offered by Rail Europe and looking forward to being part of the market recovery.”
Of the appointment, Rail Europe APAC General Manager Richard Leonard said: “With travel recovering, it is imperative that we strengthen our support system in the market to ensure the ongoing needs of our travel advisors are met.”
