Remember the luxe Arabian Peninsula air, land and cruise famil trip incentive? The winning 12 Australian and Kiwi advisors recently returned from the amazing nine-day fam, thanks to MSC Cruises, Qatar Airways and Visit Qatar, showcasing the best of the Gulf.
The Arabian Peninsula trade famil featured a seven-night cruise in the Arabian Gulf, stopping at ports in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, plus a two-night immersive stay in Doha, Qatar’s capital.
Setting sail from Doha, the agents stayed in Aurea balcony cabins aboard MSC Virtuosa and experienced pampering treatments at the Aurea Spa.
It was part of a curated onboard experience by MSC Cruises Business Development Executives Brenton Reidy and Alka Thapar that included dining in specialty restaurants, such as Kaito Teppanyaki and The Butchers Cut, and trialling the MSC F1 race car simulators.
In Abu Dhabi, trade partners also visited the Yas Marina Grand Prix track, racing each other in go-kart sessions.
After the cruise, the fam group enjoyed a 5-star hotel stopover in Doha with highlights such as exploring Katara Cultural Village and Souk Waqif and relaxing at the exclusive B12 Beach Club.
The fam’s thrill-seekers went dune bashing on a Desert Safari at the Inland Sea and also checked out the world’s longest water slide at the state-of-the-art Meryal Water Park, which is yet to open officially.
The experience aboard MSC Virtuosa clearly left a lasting impression with two travel advisors booking future cruises while still on board.
