Cue the dancers, musicians wielding ukuleles and colourful leis – registrations for Australia’s biggest Hawai‘i Roadshow, Aloha Down Under, are now open, and you must, must come down!
Running from 7 to 11 August and visiting Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, Oceania’s biggest Hawai‘i Roadshow is the chance for Travel Agents across the country to meet 26 of Hawai‘i’s top tourism operators and get their hula on!
Each year, over 600 Travel Agents network with the who’s who of the Hawaiian tourism industry and other agents, getting up to date with the latest Hawai’i product news, taking part in engaging workshops, and enjoying an evening of great food, Hawaiian entertainment and prizes.
Check out how much fun everyone had last year!
And updating your Hawai’i product knowledge has never been more valuable. As you must already know, over 60 percent of Australians book their Hawai’i holidays through Travel Agents just like you – so register your attendance here.
So what can you expect to experience (besides the warm Hawaiian hospitality) at this year’s Hawaiian Roadshow?
How about…
Live entertainment & the chance to win prizes!
Beginning with a lei welcome, Travel Agents will be wined and dine whilst being entertained by live cultural performances – such as the Hawaiian hula and traditional music. Yep, attending one of these Roadshows is nearly as good as taking a trip to Hawai’i itself…
Okay, it can’t possibly compare with actually being over in paradise, but you’ll certainly get a feel for why Hawai’i remains Australia’s third biggest market.
Oh, and you never know: you may just win a trip over to Hawai’i to experience it all for yourself, as well as other fantastic prizes. As they say, you got to be in it to win it, which in this case means registering and attending the Roadshow in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Meet with industry partners
Flying in all the way from the Aloha State, 26 industry partners – including airline, accommodation, activity and attraction suppliers – will be on hand across the Roadshow to answer all your questions about their product.
As mentioned in the intro, the majority of the Australian market book their Hawaiian holidays with a trusted Travel Agent, and meeting with these industry partners will give you the product updates you need to capture this lucrative market.
The Roadshow will also host several product training workshops.
Destination updates from Hawaii Tourism
Learn about all that’s new in the paradisiacal island chain otherwise known as Hawai’i from the folks at Hawai’i Tourism Oceania.
You’ll hear direct from the locals about all the exciting developments across the archipelago, and get to hear the latest stats which prove that Hawai’i as a destination is a consistent winner amongst Aussie Travel Agents.
The roadshow’s five-day program also includes a dedicated B2B function and a media event.
