Norwegian Cruise Lines‘ Class of 2023 graduates have passed the inaugural ‘Learn & Earn’ program, receiving a graduation pack to mark the occasion plus the chance to win a $5,000 shopping spree and cruises during the course.

NCL launched the first-of-its-kind NCL Class of 2023 initiative to engage, educate and motivate trade partners to think, learn and book the cruise line across the year.

Split over three semesters and focused on key destinations – Asia, The Americas and Europe – the program encouraged participation from Partners First Rewards members and also attracted new trade partners to engage with the cruise product.

The NCL Class of 2023 initiative provided participants with destination knowledge and selling tips as well as marketing tools to help promote NCL.

In addition, advisors earned bonus Partners First Rewards points each semester and went into the draw to win a cabin on a 2024 NCL sailing in Asia, Alaska and Europe.

All graduates will receive a graduation pack with a personalised NCL Class of 2023 certificate, a graduation teddy bear, a gift voucher, a mini speaker and 20 points toward their Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) certification.

“Thanks so much for creating such a great relationship with the industry and for always keeping agents and brokers front of mind. We feel the love and appreciate the support.”

Semester cruise draw winners were House of Travel Lower Hutt’s Lisa Crawford (Semester 1 – Asia), TravelManagers Australia’s Andrea Friend (Semester 2 – Alaska) and Flight Centre Botany New Zealand’s Flynn Cox (Semester 3 – Europe).

“It is such a good way to engage consultants into learning more about the company so that we can sell destinations a lot better. Also, such a good program to run alongside CLIA training to really boost our cruise sales,” Mr Cox said.

NCL Sales Director AUNZ Damian Borg added: “We appreciate that agents are busier than ever, so we were really pleased with the number of trade partners who committed to learning with us over the course of this year and earned themselves a place on our 2023 Honour Roll.”
