Bench Africa is expanding its Reservations team and has a unique opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated, and passionate Africa Reservations Consultant to join the Bench tribe! First-hand travel knowledge of Africa is essential as well as experience in designing bespoke holidays.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming enquiries and securing new bookings via phone/email from both Travel Agents and Direct consumers with consistently high service levels
- Ongoing servicing of Travel Agents’ and Direct consumers’ quotes/booking right up until clients return home
- Support Travel Agents with various product/destination queries, supporting them with your informed suggestions, to assist them in closing the sale with their clients
- Address Travel Agent and Direct consumer issues in an appropriate manner, escalating as necessary
- Participate in travel trade and associated industry promotional functions, expos and events where required
- Other duties as required and as appropriate to a position of this nature

- You will establish and grow client relationships with ease by phone and email with solid communication skills and an aptitude for building rapport.
- You have a burning desire to be part of the best team of industry Africa experts who are equally passionate about the destination and specialise solely in African holidays.
- You hold strong organisation and time management skills and are self-motivated to ensure client responses and quotes are delivered in a timely manner.
- You will focus on a consultative approach, providing suggestions and suitable alternatives to clients, whilst always looking for up-sell opportunities.
