Princess Cruises recently hosted three incredible famils across Asia, Europe, and North America, as well as one mega-famil in Australia, giving travel partners the chance to experience the brand’s award-winning fleet and signature service firsthand. These famils showcased the benefit of fly-cruise travel – combining world-class airline partners, exciting destinations, whilst highlighting the Princess experience.
Anchoring these international journeys was the Shoot for the Star incentive — an extraordinary European famil experience aboard the brand-new Star Princess®. In addition, Princess Cruises also hosted a famil on Royal Princess in California and Discovery Princess in Asia.
These cruises demonstrated Princess Cruises’ commitment to empowering travel agents and building confidence in promoting unforgettable cruise holidays around the world.
Shoot for the Star: A Stellar European Experience on Star Princess
Hosted by Rachaelle Tyrrell (NSW/ACT State Manager), Elly Eves (Key Account & Operations Manager) and Helloworld’s David Ninham, the Shoot for the Star famil hosted leading travel agents from across Australia for a seven-night Spain and France itinerary aboard the newest ship in Princess Cruises’ fleet, Star Princess.

The journey began with flights on Singapore Airlines, where KrisFlyer members enjoyed complimentary Wi-Fi—an effortless introduction to the advantages of fly-cruise.
A pre-night in Barcelona at Innside by Meliá Barcelona Apolo set the tone, with time to explore the Gothic Quarter and dine at the historic Los Caracoles before embarkation.
Onboard, agents discovered the ship’s striking design, spacious layout, and seamless MedallionClass® technology. From the three-storey piazza to the personalised service, Star Princess® delivered comfort, convenience, and inspired dining experiences including The Butcher’s Block by Dario, Love by Britto, and Alfredo’s Pizzeria.
Entertainment highlights included a candlelight concert in The Dome, a signature Princess venue that quickly became a favourite. Ports of call included Malaga, Gibraltar, Cartagena, and Marseille, offering a blend of culture, coastline, and culinary discovery.
With Star Princess® set to debut in Alaska next year, the famil gave agents a confidence-boosting preview of the ship’s world-class offerings.
Royal Princess: California with Cruiseco & Creative Cruising’s Top Sellers
In the USA, Tyrone Jost (QLD/NT State Manager) hosted 15 top-selling agents from Australia and New Zealand aboard Royal Princess for the California Coastal itinerary (25 October – 1 November).

Agents flew Fiji Airways, enjoying renowned Fijian hospitality before arriving in Los Angeles for an adrenaline-charged visit to the Porsche Experience Center, complete with track rides and simulators.
Onboard, the group experienced the best of Royal Princess, from Movies Under the Stars and The Sanctuary to exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the galley, theatre, and navigational bridge.
Ashore, highlights included:
- Cycling the Golden Gate Bridge
- Wine tasting in Sonoma
- Zoo visits and tours in San Diego
- A farewell celebration in Ensenada
The famil wrapped up with visits to the Grammy Museum, Warner Bros. Studios, and shopping at Citadel Outlets, delivering a well-rounded fly-cruise experience.
Discovery Princess: Connecting the Asia Team
In Asia, Moreshnie Pather (Key Account Manager) welcomed agents for Our Vacation Centre’s Asia Summit aboard Discovery Princess, including a roundtrip sailing from 28 October and a ship inspection in Penang for 18 call-centre staff.

The program featured dedicated training and product updates at the company’s head office, further strengthening Princess Cruises’ presence in the fast-growing Asia market.
Elevating the Fly-Cruise Experience
Fly-cruise is the ultimate way to explore the world with ease. By combining premium air travel, effortless embarkation, and exceptional onboard experiences, Princess Cruises continues to set the standard for global cruising.
Whether sailing the Mediterranean, the California coast, or the vibrant ports of Asia, these famils showcased why Princess Cruises remains a trusted choice for travellers.
Local Domestic Cruising

Princess Cruises continues to champion our local product with ongoing famils and ship inspections across Australia and New Zealand.
Domestic cruising remains a favourite, and we regularly offer travel agents the chance to experience it firsthand.
Most recently, nearly 80 agents joined us aboard Crown Princess for a 2-night sailing from Sydney to Brisbane, hosted by Bonnie Turner (Trade Marketing Associate), Simone Pighini (Event Specialist) and Brian Gammage (Sales Specialist).
The group included Incentive Winners and Travel Agents, who enjoyed Princess Update training and an exclusive behind-the-scenes galley tour.
