Travel advisors laced up their skates for an exclusive ice hockey training session and the opportunity to win rink-side tickets for the NHL exhibition match between the Arizona Coyotes and LA Kings in Melbourne on 24 September 2023.
Unsurprisingly, the agent-only event hosted by Visit Arizona and Linkd Tourism was a sellout success with spots quickly snapped up by advisors eager to join the ice hockey training sesh and learn more about sport in the Grand Canyon State.
Across two hours, expert instructors guided advisors in the intricacies of ice hockey from basic skills to more advanced moves.
Plus, one lucky attendee skated away with two VIP tickets to the NHL exhibition match at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.
The amazing Visit Arizona event prize, valued at more than $1,200, included premium seats behind the goals with direct views of the ice, VIP entry, a $50 food and beverage voucher and souvenir Global Series Melbourne merch.
