The Travel Junction is dialling up its support with a new full-service reservations sales team. With expert advice now just a phone call away, travel advisors can say ‘goodbye’ to the stress of travel planning and ‘hello’ to The Travel Junction’s enhanced service – and happier clients.
From 2 May, travel advisors will be able to access The Travel Junction’s new full-service, experienced reservations sales team.
Available six days a week by phone and email, the Australian-based team were chosen for their first-hand product knowledge and multi-year consultative sales experience, The Travel Junction general manager James Whiting said.
The wholesaler’s reservations sales team will provide personalised expert advice, including offering qualified product recommendations and specialist assistance with complex itinerary build.
“We want to make it easier for our clients to create and deliver amazing global travel experiences for their guests,” Whiting said.
Advisors can still create and manage their self-service itineraries within The Travel Junction’s HELiO booking platform. And the 24/7 live agent ‘Chat’ support will have advisors’ backs.
The introduction of the new phone and email services simply offers flexibility in how travel advisors choose to book with The Travel Junction.
An industry first
“We believe we will deliver a first for the industry – a wholesale omni-channel environment,” Whiting said.
“All bookings made by our team will reside in HELiO. This means a travel advisor can access, add travel components and amend an itinerary created by our team as well as settle payment directly in their own HELiO environment.
“Similarly, our reservations sales team can easily access and enhance an advisor’s existing booking they’ve made in HELiO.”

And whether advisors work with The Travel Junction via HELiO, phone or email services, they’ll still access a global range of over 250,000 hotels, car hire, theme parks and attractions, transfers, and dynamic and curated packages. And remember, The Travel Junction charges zero fees on credit/debit cards and never charges for cancellations or amendments above supplier conditions.
