The Campioni di Silversea trade recognition program is back in 2023 with a new structure, qualification format and rewards to be shared soon.

The Campioni di Silversea trade recognition program is back in 2023 with a new structure, qualification format and rewards to be shared soon.

The Silversea program rewards the top 20 travel agencies in Australia and New Zealand that report the highest booked revenue in a calendar year.

The cruise company announced that this year’s program will have a new structure with a different qualification format and rewards recognition.

Established in 2019, Campioni di Silversea (‘Champions of Silversea’ in Italian) thanks trade partners for their support in the previous year.

Last year’s winning agencies enjoyed an exclusive private dining experience at Sydney’s Quay Restaurant recently.

Travel advisors dined with Adam Radwanski (APAC Manager Director), Massimo Brancaleoni (SVP – Global Sales), Steve Richards (Director of Sales – AU/NZ) and Regional Sales Managers Barry Laaksonen (Vic, SA, TAS), Christine Gardiner (NSW, ACT) and Sara Puglia (Qld, NT, WA).

Silversea President & CEO Barbara Muckermann presented each agency rep with an office trophy and Magnum of Champagne.

At a recent Sydney event, Ms Muckermann told Karryon that one in three cruisers will sail with Silversea.

According to Ms Muckermann, the cruise line now accounts for an impressive 21 per cent of the global market share in the luxury expedition cruise space (the most of any cruise line) and by 2027 expects to have a whopping 31 per cent market share.
