The Solomon Islands and the Kingdom of Tonga will team up for the first time to showcase two of the South Pacific’s most authentic destinations to the travel trade in Australia and New Zealand, visiting Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland in November 2025.
The exclusive travel roadshow will visit Auckland on 17 November, followed by Sydney (18 November) and Brisbane (19 November), allowing advisors to get to know more about these lesser-known South Pacific destinations.
Attendees will hear the latest destination updates from tourism leaders and operators, experience Pacific culture with live performances and have the chance to win some amazing prizes at each event, including Fiji Airways, Solomon Airlines and Qantas flights.
ANZ Trade Manager for both Tourism Solomons and Tonga Tourism Richard Skewes said, unlike more established neighbours, the Solomon Islands and Tonga remain refreshingly untouched by mass tourism.
“This means agents attending the functions will walk away with fresh, brag-worthy experiences to share with clients who have already ‘been there, done that’ across the Pacific,” he said.
“This collaboration is the first of its kind, bringing together the best of Melanesia and Polynesia in a single showcase.
“It’s an opportunity for the trade to learn directly from the people who come from these destinations – and to discover new reasons why their clients should holiday in the Solomons and Tonga in 2026.”
