Applications have just opened for one of the most prestigious awards offered to Australian and New Zealand travel professionals – The Avis Travel Agent Scholarship program.
The award, which is in its 22nd year, has gained a reputation as one of the travel industry’s top accolades.

Applications for the program will be open from today until 12 October 2018 and finalists will be announced on 25 October 2018 with the award dinner and winner announcement taking place in November 2018.
Steadily expanding its size and reputation in the travel industry, the Avis Travel Agent Scholarship prize is valued at over $40,000.
The winner will enjoy a range of prizes and experiences including travelling to Singapore to attend the Phocuswright Conference, professional guidance and access to exceptional training opportunities with organisations such as Cruise Lines International Association Australasia.
Judged on extraordinary customer service and innovation in the workplace, the Scholarship application process is designed to be rigorous, transparent and impartial.
Candidates must answer a series of questions in the most creative way they can, before submitting their responses in any format from Word and PowerPoint to video.
