Together In Travel: Presenting 'F#$% Coronavirus', The Industry #1 hit Track

Forget Tones and I – these legendary dance monkeys have taken the travel industry by storm and created a much-needed banger that'll get agents singing from their stores and home offices everywhere.

Forget Tones and I – these legendary dance monkeys have taken the travel industry by storm and created a much-needed banger that’ll get agents singing from their stores and home offices everywhere.

After thinking about how they could bring some light and laughter to a horrendous situation for all right now, the team at University of Queensland Universal Traveller got creative and wrote a pandemic sized killer track of their own.

Taking inspiration from some bloke called Billy Joel (never heard of him) and a little ditty he wrote called “We didn’t start the fire”, the uplifting track mercilessly cuts though the sentiment of every agent out there at the moment, whether you work for Flight Centre Travel Group or not.

Because we’re all in this together.

Ps: Look out for what they’re drinking in the video – Genius! (Though we’re told that’s only lemon cordial in the bottles).

Ready to sing along? Here’s the lyrics!

“Flight Change, CFAR, Hold music, to the BAR,

Social distance, wine grapes, fist bumps, Dance Breaks,

3am, phone calls, crying in the bathroom stalls,

Loopholes, cruise ship, legendary leadership,

Borders close, Tom Hanks, trouble in the big planes, no vaccine, quarantine, no more toilet paper seen,

Travel ban, Caffeine, panic COVID-19, Globe Gathering, gone away, what else do I have to sayyyyyy…

F#$% CORONAVIRUS…

Agents are uniting…

To help the world keep flying,

We will beat this virus,

We will stay united,

Together we fight it.”

Repeat to fade…

Following on from last week’s industry killer track ‘Party in BKK’

Last weekend, Travel Partners and soul sistas Amanda Beth and Kayla Williams channelled their finest Miley Cyrus inspiration to bring us a catchy rendition of ‘Party in the USA’.

The pair were in Bangkok for the annual conference at the Marriott Marquis and sadly came home to self-isolation on Monday.

We’ve since heard on the grapevine that a gaggle of screaming fans are now camped outside their doorsteps waiting for autographs.

We’re thinking of you, ladies.

Now it’s your turn! We want to hear from you too!
