1. SPOTTED… hanging out with the Prime Minister
Yes, THE Prime Minister.
Global Stars were just having the time of their lives on a pre Global STARS famil in Broome when they randomly bumped into Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull.
Pretty cool.
2. SPOTTED… discovering Myanmar
Pictured in front of the magnificent Ananda Temple in Myanmar’s Bagan region, the group of MTA – Mobile Travel Agents’ members fortunate to take part in an exclusive study tour of this fast developing destination as guests of Trails of Indochina.
While in Myanmar the group experienced a stay in Yangon where they had the opportunity to inspect the capital’s range of accommodation and enjoy sightseeing before boarding Heritage Lines’ luxury river cruiser Anawrahta for a four-night cruise visiting the regions of Sagaing, Yanderbo, Pakokku and Bagan en route.
An undoubted highlight of the program was a visit to the Bagan region, home to more than 2000 temples, stupas and pagodas spread over a 30 kilometre area.
3. SPOTTED… walking the red carpet
Infinity Holidays rolled out the Hollywood red carpet at the successful Discover the Americas Travel Expo in Sydney and Adelaide last month with even bigger expectations for Brisbane, Perth and Melbourne in the coming weeks.
Customers were keen to escape the Australian winter to beautiful destinations like Waikiki and Kona, and who better to answer their queries than the Infinity Holidays experts who returned from Fight Centre’s Global Gathering in Hawaii last month. Other hot destinations included Las Vegas and Vancouver, with many people opting to ride the Rocky Mountaineer in Canada or cruise the Inside Passage in Alaska on their next getaway.
Infinity Holidays partnered with Disney to provide the most talked about deal-of-the-day. Travel Expo attendees were able to score a 5 day Park Pass for the price of 3 days when booked in conjunction with flights and 5 nights’ accommodation. Much to the delight of the kids (and Mum and Dad!), the Disney deal will be available at the upcoming Travel Expos this weekend and next. The Infinity Holidays team are looking forward to providing many great deals to help you book all your clients’ holidays to the Americas.
4. SPOTTED… at the COMO Hotels roadshow
COMO The Treasury, Perth was this week the last stop for the global Directors of Sales and Marketing of COMO Hotels and Resorts who have been on a sales roadshow around Australia and New Zealand for the past two weeks.
Commencing in Auckland, New Zealand the team travelled to Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to showcase and bring updates from COMO’s portfolio of properties in London, Thailand, Bhutan, Bali, the Maldives, the Turks and Caicos and of course Australia’s own Perth.
