The travel industry has lost one of its bright lights, with the passing of the much-loved and inspiring Lyn Keep. Described by Travel Beyond Group (TBG) CEO Tim Lane as “an amazingly talented and beautiful soul”, Lyn devoted her life to people – and to helping them shine.
Known for her warmth, honesty, and infectious energy, she had, as Lane shared, “a remarkable ability to light up a room with her honesty and zest for life”.
Keep’s career began with Ansett Airlines and soared as she helped build Show Group alongside close friend Graham Fear, forming lifelong friendships and leaving a legacy of professionalism and care.
In recent years, Lyn became a cornerstone of the Travel Beyond Group.
“She was not just a colleague – she was a cherished member of our family,” Lane stated.
According to the TBG boss, Keep’s passion, generosity and mentorship helped shape a culture of inclusion and excellence that will long outlive her.
“We will miss you, Darls. You always told us the angels were watching over you – well, now they will look after you,” he said.
“Everyone, enjoy a Tim Tam today.”
