With European river cruising rising in popularity, a group of Travel Counsellors agents recently experienced the wonders of cruising on an exclusive river cruise through the heart of Europe.
Hosted by APT, the group consisting of Cheryl Bentley, Heidi Winkley, Julie Moore, Liz Van Boxel, Michaela Roberts, Samantha Slattery & Tina Millington, enjoyed eight days of luxury cruising, starting in Amsterdam and finishing in Basel, Switzerland.
With most of the river cruise navigating Germany’s iconic Rhine River, the group were treated to guided tours of charming villages and historic cities, as well as a variety of optional experiences such as wine tasting, museum visits and trips to medieval castles.
While on-board APT’s luxury vessel, the group enjoyed the comforts aboard the boat and indulged in many sumptuous meals including the Captain’s Gala welcome dinner and the Captain’s Cocktail Party on the first night of the cruise.
Tina Millington, Travel Counsellor based in Brighton East, has witnessed a sharp increase in interest in river cruising in Europe.
