Travellers Choice is wrapping up 2024 the way it started – by expanding its award-winning network with new members from across the country. The latest additions include Bonaventure Travel in Perth and Oh Travel Co in Goondiwindi, Queensland, adding even more diversity to the group’s stronghold of independent travel agents.
Why Bonaventure Travel made the move
Bonaventure Travel, a premium leisure and corporate travel management company, has been a staple of the Perth travel scene since 1999 under the leadership of owner Isabelle Chu. After decades of steering the business independently, Chu felt it was time to align with a retail group that truly valued her contributions.
“I approached Travellers Choice because I decided that if I was going to contribute to a retail group’s success, I wanted to be part of an organisation that recognises and values that contribution,” Chu said.
“With Travellers Choice it’s a genuinely reciprocal relationship – I support the group, and it supports me.”
Chu’s decision was cemented by her positive interactions with the group’s senior management, who she described as “caring”, particularly in their support of members during the challenges of the pandemic.
Oh Travel Co: Rural success, backed by personalised support
In the rural community of Goondiwindi, Queensland, Lindy Goodwin of Oh Travel Co has built a successful travel business tailored to the needs of her local clientele. Despite relishing her independence as an experienced operator, Goodwin sought a support system that wouldn’t compromise her autonomy.

“When I need support, I want to be able to call on a business development manager who knows me, understands the unique needs of my business, and responds quickly,” Goodwin said, who has over 20 years of retail travel experience.
Joining Travellers Choice offered her the balance she was seeking: maintaining independence while having access to resources and tailored assistance when needed.
A year of milestones for Travellers Choice
2024 has been a banner year for Travellers Choice, with achievements that underscore its record of strong performance in the industry. Network Development Manager Paul Millan highlights the group’s success, including welcoming new members in nearly every state, achieving record financial returns for shareholders, and clinching its fourth consecutive National Travel Industry Award for Most Outstanding Travel Agency Network.
“New arrivals have also embraced all of our flexible membership solutions – Activate, Elevate and Accelerate – which offer different levels of business services and financial benefits in line with each member’s specific needs,” Millan said.
Looking ahead
As Travellers Choice looks to 2025, the momentum gained this year shows no signs of slowing. With a commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and providing bespoke support to members, the group’s reputation continues to grow.
Millan is optimistic about what’s to come.
“Travellers Choice is ending 2024 with enormous momentum, and I’m confident we’ll see that energy drive further network growth in the new year,” he said.
