TRAVELMANAGERS crashed A WEDDING in Waikiki during HILARIOUS challenge

If you happened to be in Waikiki this weekend, then you may have been fortunate enough to see TravelManagers crashing several weddings during their first team-building challenge.

If you happened to be in Waikiki this weekend, then you may have been fortunate enough to see TravelManagers crashing several weddings during their first team-building challenge.

While traditionally TravelManagers set aside half a day during their annual conference for charitable activities, this year they opted to give back to the Hawaiian locals in quite a quirky way.

But let’s start at the very beginning (according to Maria Von Trapp, a very good place to start).

Personal Travel Managers awoke at the Prince Waikiki on day two of their 2018 conference with the choice to take part in two of three workshops.

Those that felt like they needed a bit of healing headed over to the Wellness & Success Workshop hosted by the Derick Borean who helped announce TravelManagers new mental health program. The rest learned about Creative Effective Content for Virtual Businesses (click here for pro Agent tips for Facebook) and confidence being vital to success.

Straight after obtaining useful content, they headed on over to the ‘Show n’ Tell’ room where suppliers showed and told them about their products.

Operators such as Viking Cruises, World Leading Cruise Lines, Wendy Wu Tours and SO MANY MORE woo’d consultants over to their tables with fun freebies.

Then it was onto the group’s inaugural team building challenge, which played out like an Amazing Race.

Consultants and suppliers were split into teams and handed a list of activities they had to tick off around Waikiki.

Some of the funnier activities included crashing a wedding.

Then there were the ‘pay it forward’ activities, which included buying ice cream for a stranger.

And doing a doing a random nice deed.

To prove they’d completed each activity, consultants were required to take a picture acting out of the action and post it to social media using the hashtag – #TM2018HNL.

Four hours and 12 activities laters, Agents returned to the hotel dripping in Waikiki sweat for a quick shower and rest before heading to the Prince Waikiki’s Muliwai Deck and Hinani Bar for some much-deserved drinks.
